Marissa is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also certified as a spin instructor. She is currently in her senior year at the University of Nevada, where she is studying to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics with a minor in Community Health Sciences. Marissa grew up as a competitive athlete and loves to stay physically active through running, swimming, cycling and weightlifting. Her goal is to pursue a career in nutrition and fitness by becoming a Registered Dietitian. Marissa plans to continue her education and earn a Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology and Nutritional Sciences.
Sasha relocated to Reno in the summer of 2016 to pursue her MBA at the University of Nevada. She has a degree in Political Science from Colorado State University and worked for Nordstrom in Seattle, WA, Broomfield, CO, and Nashville, TN. While living in Nashville, Sasha joined Orangetheory Fitness as a member where she saw and experienced the positive difference that it makes in people’s lives. She was happy to find out that Reno had an Orangetheory Fitness and reached out to become a part of the Orangetheory Fitness Reno team. Sasha loves the environment that the studio provides to its members, and she has seen first-hand the positive impact it can have on a life! When Sasha isn't at the studio or in school, she enjoys hanging out with her boyfriend or skiing with her dad and brother.
Hannah grew up in northern Nevada and loves spending time outdoors. Her favorite activities include skiing, swimming and climbing. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Developmental Disabilities all from the University of Nevada. She is currently in school at Truckee Meadows Community College where she is studying dental hygiene. She has been with the Orangetheory Fitness team since its opening for presales in February of 2016 and now fills in when her busy schedule allows. Hannah likes being a part of helping people live healthier lifestyles with Orangetheory Fitness’ fun and unique workouts.
Alexis and her husband, Russ, moved to Reno in 2015, to open Orangetheory Fitness. They discovered the interval training, heartrate based workout while living in Atlanta, GA, and decided to bring the franchise to the Reno area. Alexis’ background is in marketing and sales and she holds a BA from The University of Alabama in Advertising. She grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL, and spent her adult life in the southeastern communities of Baton Rouge, LA, Birmingham, AL and Atlanta, GA. Alexis has always loved fitness and has held several water fitness certifications since high-school and has taught classes when her schedule allowed. Her most recent position was managing a six-state Southeastern territory for an international premium paper manufacturer. Alexis is now fulltime with Orangetheory Fitness Reno and oversees the marketing for the company along with many of the day to day and operational activities. Alexis & Russ have 'no-regrets' from their rapid 2,000 mile move. "The Reno community has been so welcoming and receptive to our adventure. Russ and I are enjoying getting to know all of our new members and friends and being involved in the community," says Alexis. "Some of the things that I quickly became involved in in Reno include the Chamber's Leadership program, Reno South Rotary, WIN, the American Marketing Association and a women's Bible study group.” Alexis and Russ say that they have ‘no regrets’ with their move to Reno. “We know that we are in the right place and living out our dream!"
Jamie is a native New Yorker who has over five years of experience in the health and fitness industry. She has a national certification through the Aerobics and Fitness Association in Group Fitness training along with a law degree from New York Law School. She is an avid runner who has completed four marathons and over 20 half marathons. Jamie loves all things fitness and family and is filled with infectious energy! “Being a part of Orangetheory Fitness is a dream come true for me. Every day I get to work with and inspire others to be the best versions of themselves.” As the Head Trainer for Orangetheory Fitness Reno, Jamie oversees all of the coaches, the class schedules and most things that pertain to the studio area. website.
Jade graduated from high school in Las Vegas and moved to Reno to attend college at the University of Nevada where she is currently majoring in neuroscience and minoring in psychology and chemistry. After college, Jade plans to go to medical school to become a pediatric doctor or surgeon. She worked for Orangetheory Fitness in Las Vegas for two years and was happy to find out one was opening in Reno. Fitness has always been a part of her life. While in high school, Jade competed in the state championships for soccer and long distance track. When she is not at school, working or running, she loves to visit her ‘happiest place on earth,’ Disneyland.
Originally from San Diego, CA, Delaney is the oldest of four siblings. She is currently a Psychology major at the University of Nevada. Having played competitive tennis most of her life, Delaney is comfortable helping people reach their fitness goals through hard work and dedication. She is very passionate about Orangetheory Fitness and loves to work with members to help them become the best possible version of themselves!
Lulu was born and raised in Somers Point, New Jersey where she spent most of her time enjoying the Jersey shore. She moved to Reno 10 years ago and has loved it ever since. She graduated from Truckee Meadows Community College High School where she got an early start on her college career. She is currently working full-time at Orangetheory Fitness which is a great fit for Lulu because fitness has always been a huge part of her lifestyle. As a youth, she did competitive gymnastics for 10 years and then went on to play competitive volleyball for years. She loves being part of the Orangetheory Fitness community! Lulu is grateful to be helping the members achieve their highest goals each and every day!
Rebecca and her husband Michael chose to relocate to Reno with their two boys in 2015 to be closer to family and to seek out a more balanced lifestyle. Rebecca loves doing just about anything that keeps her active. She has participated in competitive sports most of her life including playing collegiate volleyball at UC Irvine and competitively running marathons. Rebecca earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology from the University of California, Irvine. She has a National Exercise Sports Trainers Association Personal Training Certification along with certifications in TRX Suspension, Kettlebells and Les Mills. She taught personal and group training at Equinox where she attended a number of workshops including Shockwave and Precision Running. “I love being a part of the Orangetheory Fitness team,” comments Rebecca. “It has given me the opportunity to coach people to work towards being the best they are capable of becoming. The sense of community at Orangetheory Fitness is contagious. I love going to work every day.”
SuZan discovered Orangetheory Fitness while living in Atlanta where she was a member at the Northlake studio and found it to be the perfect complement to her training for her first marathon. “At Orangetheory, I work toward being stronger with every workout,” she comments. She and her fiancé at the time, relocated to Reno in the spring of 2016 to be closer to her parents, and they were married at Heavenly in South Lake Tahoe in June. SuZan and her new husband spend their free time hiking, biking, playing tennis and occasionally swinging a golf club. “We love being near Lake Tahoe and exploring the beauty it has to offer.” SuZan, who has a degree in International Business from Bradley University, is employed fulltime for Publisher Services Inc, a full service sales and distribution company for board games and toys, working directly with Amazon, Walmart, Toys R Us and other smaller niche accounts. She fills in at Orangetheory Fitness when her busy life allows.
